GDPR Notice

As of May 25 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into effect, affecting users in the European Union. As defined by Council of the European Union, Interinstitutional File: 2012/0011 (COD): "The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679 is a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy for all individuals within the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (EEA). It also addresses the export of personal data outside the EU and EEA areas. The GDPR aims primarily to give control to citizens and residents over their personal data and to simplify the regulatory environment for international business by unifying the regulation within the EU."

Bots added to groups can operate in two modes: with access to messages in the group or without access. If the bot has access to messages, it can see everything that happens in the group. The interface clearly shows whether or not a bot has access to messages in groups. Our relationship with you is fundamentally based on unambiguous consent. In order to provide the best experience, we are required to access certain information. According to Article 6(1)(b) processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party.

We will retain the personal information in a form that identifies you pursuant to our data retention periods. We may continue processing such personal information for longer periods, but only for the time and to the extent such processing reasonably serves the purposes of statistical analysis, and subject to the protection of our privacy disclosures. After such time periods have expired, we may either delete your personal information or retain it in a form such that it does not identify you personally.
